Legalism List

     This list contains a number of common legalistic teachings and ideas that are promoted by different people within the Christian community.

     I would encourage all visitors to read the complete information provided on a certain topic.  If you disagree or have further discussion on the subject, I strongly encourage you to 'submit your thoughts' via email.   Some of the input given may be posted on the website.

• 'The Authorized King James Version is the ONLY Bible to be used'

• 'Clothing (Christian dress code), Hair Styles, Tattoos'

• 'A Christian should not work, go out to eat, etc. on Sunday.'

• 'Either 'only Gospel hymns' or 'only contemporary music' are allowed in church.'

• 'Christians should never listen to 'Rock and Roll' or 'pop' music' (NEW)

• 'Christians should not use titles, such as 'Reverend', 'Pastor', 'Father', etc.'

• 'Musical instruments should not be played in church'

• 'Christians should not use playing cards'
